PC doesn't recognize 2nd Ram stick - Windows 7 Forum Jan 23, 2015 · Hi all, I have upgraded a PC to a 64-bit architecture as this would then allow it to support more Ram, It currently has 4gb, and i would like to upgrade it by another 4gb, but neither the BIOS or windows recognize the other 4gb when placed into the second Ram slot. Solved: memory upgrade not recognized - HP Support SOLVED The 2nd slot was not seating the new stick properly. The old ram seated with out a problem but the new ram didn't quite make contact (about 8 times in a row!!). I finally noticed and did a little judicious pushing and it seated and I've my full 2gig. Hey Icrontic. I added an additional RAM kit into my system yesterday in an attempt to boost my amount of available RAM, however after booting up the system I noticed that Windows was not detecting the new RAM placed in the system at all, however Speccy and CPU-Z both detected it.

Apr 16, 2019 · Here's my problem. When I place both RAM sticks (2x 2GB DDR2 Corsair) in the two available slots of the motherboard. Once I boot it up, the computer won't boot. I get no signal. But, if I put a RAM in the first slot, the computer boots perfectly. I attempted putting the working RAM into the other slot but did not get success. What can be the
